9.Millennial Kingdom Society

  1. Politics

The millennial kingdom is a monarchy. It is a single nation that unites the entire world. The king of the millennial kingdom is Jehovah God. Jehovah God is the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will have a body forever. He had a body before the incarnation, had a body when he was incarnated, and had a body when he died and was resurrected three days later. The body after the incarnation is a complete divine body, but the body of the incarnation was a 100% divine, 100% human body without sin, and after the resurrection, he shook off the human body and had a complete divine body. Before the incarnation, in Genesis 19, he came to Abraham in human form with two angels, ate food, and talked with Abraham. The word Trinity means that the three persons of God have one body. God the Father is a spirit without a body. God the Holy Spirit is also a spirit. However, God the Son has a body. He is a spiritual body. Philippians 3:21 says that when we are resurrected, we will be like the Lord’s resurrected body.

Philippians 2:6 says, “He is the very essence of God,” 2 Corinthians 4:4 says, “Christ is the image of God,” and Colossians 1:15 says, “Christ is the image of the invisible God.” Don’t you think this passage is strange? If it says, “the invisible God,” then there should be no form, but in the words, “the image of the invisible God,” God the Father and God the Holy Spirit are spirits and therefore have no form, but God the Son is the image of God. In John 14:7-9, in the conversation between Jesus and Philip, it is said that the body of God the Son is shared by God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ body is both the body of God the Father and the body of God the Holy Spirit. Therefore, Jesus says that anyone who has seen Jesus has seen God the Father.

‘7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you know him and have seen him. 8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it will suffice us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’”

By confirming the facts above, I believe that the question of how the invisible God can be the King of the Millennium Kingdom when we say that the King of the Millennium Kingdom is Jehovah has been resolved. In other words, just as He was incarnated and lived with His disciples in the land of Judea as the Messiah of the First Coming, He will act as the actual Messiah (King) in the Millennium Kingdom.

The Millennium Kingdom will be formed by each nation and people, just as each nation and people in the world currently forms a country. The United States is currently called the United States of America. The Millennium Kingdom will also be the United States of Millennium. Currently, the same people but divided into different countries, or the same language but divided into different countries, will be integrated as simply as possible. However, geographically distant countries are a different matter. The United States and Canada will become one country because they speak English, and Brazil and Portugal will become separate countries because they have the same language but different regions.

The millennium is a transitional period between our current society and the eternal world. It is the same world as the one we live in with our bodies, although the era is different. It is just like the people who lived in Gojoseon 4,000 years ago and the people we live with today. The millennium that will be created on this earth in the future will also be a world inhabited by the same people. Therefore, the millennium will have legislative, judicial, and administrative branches. The legislative branch will have autonomous laws for each nation-state according to the millennium law of the federal government. The judiciary is an agency that enforces laws according to the nation-state law and the millennium law, and the administrative branch is an agency that exercises local administration according to the federal law and the self-governing state law. Therefore, the police, prisons, schools, literature, arts, sports, military, business, enterprises, factories, farming, farms, administrative offices, churches (places to praise, worship, and pray to the King of the kingdom), etc. are exactly the same as the life we live today.

The vassal kings of each nation-state will be appointed by Jehovah from among the martyred Christians who are citizens of that nation.

Revelation 20:4 says, ‘4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.’

In the New Testament and the Old Testament, and during the seven-year tribulation, those who were beheaded for the gospel and for being Christians, and for not worshiping the beast and the image, and for not receiving the mark of the beast on their foreheads and hands, were said to come back to life and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

The nation of Israel will be made up of Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria (Ezekiel 47:18-23), and the twelve apostles will reign with Christ in this nation. Matthew 19:28, ‘8 Jesus said to them, ‘Truly I tell you, in the new world, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.’

  1. Climate, environment, and society

The salvation that all creatures were waiting for in Romans 8:18-23 has been fulfilled.

‘18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, 21 in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth right up to now. 23 And not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.’

Isaiah 11:6-9, ‘6 Then the wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the kid; the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child will lead them. 7 The cow and the bear will feed together, and their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child will play on the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den. 9 They will not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.’

Isaiah 65:25, ‘25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain. The Lord says.’

In Isaiah 11:6-9 and Isaiah 65:25, all animals became herbivores. Fierce beasts became tame, and poisonous snakes lost their poison. The world of preying on each other disappeared. The millennial kingdom is a peaceful world like this. However, there was a world of herbivores before the millennial kingdom. It was the world before the flood of Noah. It was the era of Genesis 5. At that time, the human lifespan was close to a thousand years. However, it was a world where Satan existed.

Genesis 9:1-3, ‘1 God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 The fear of you and the dread of you will fall on every beast of the earth, every bird of the sky, every creature that moves on the ground, and every fish in the sea; they are given into your hand. 3 Every moving animal shall be food for you; as the green herb, I have given you all things.’

God allowed humans to eat animals from Genesis 9:3. If that is true, then humans were herbivores before then. And in verse 2, it says that all animals will fear humans. It seems that animals became fierce in defense because they could be eaten. If that is true, before humans ate animals as food, it must have been a time when humans were friendly and, as in Isaiah 11 and 65, the wolf lived with the lamb, the leopard lay down with the kid, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; a little child led them, the cow and the bear fed together, their young ones lay down together, and the lion ate straw like the ox. The nursing child played on the hole of the viper, and the weaned child put his hand on the den of the viper without harm.

An example of this is Genesis 3:1. ‘Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?’ KJV

‘3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?’

Here, the Hebrew word for ‘Subtil, Subtle’ (Arum) has both positive and negative meanings, but it is said to be used positively here. As clever, sensitive, sharp. Satan used the clever and sharp serpent as the one talking to Eve. What I mean is that humans and animals were intimate with each other.

After the flood of Noah, the climate also changed and began to torment people. Since then, the cold and heat have killed people and tormented them so much. Genesis 8:22, ‘22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, will never cease.’ It says that there will be cold and heat. After the flood of Noah, the human lifespan was reduced by half compared to before the flood. The reason may be the change from herbivory to carnivoes and the worsening climate. However, in the millennial kingdom, it has returned to the Genesis era before the flood. Since Satan, the main culprit who caused the flood of Noah, has disappeared, it will be a peaceful, abundant, mild, and pleasant world.

Isaiah 9:1-3, ‘1 But there will be no more gloom for those who were oppressed. In the past the Lord despised the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but later he has glorified the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles. 2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; on those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death light has dawned. 3 You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at harvest time, as with joy when dividing the spoil. 4 For you have broken the yoke of their burden, the rod of their shoulder, and the staff of their oppressor, as in the day of Midian.’

Psalm 67:3-7, ‘3 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you. 4 Let all the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity; you rule over the kingdoms on earth. (Selah) 5 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you. 6 The earth has yielded its produce; God, our God, will bless us. 7 God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him. ‘

Isaiah 35:5-10, ‘5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. 6 Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb will sing for joy, for waters will burst out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. 7 The scorching desert will become a pool of water, and the thirsty ground springs of water. In the places where jackals lie, grass and reeds and cattails will grow. 8 A highway will be there, and it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not pass over it, but it will be for the redeemed. No one who is foolish will travel on it. 9 No lion will be there, and no ravenous beast will go up there, nor will it be found there. Only the redeemed will walk there. 10 The ransomed of the LORD will return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy will be on their heads; they will obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.’

Isaiah 41:18-20, ‘18 I will open rivers on the bare heights, and springs in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. 19 I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the wild olive tree; I will place in the desert the fir tree, the pine, and the box together. 20 Then they will see and know that the hand of the LORD has made it, and the Holy One of Israel has created it; they will consider and understand together.’

Isaiah 43:18-21, ‘18 Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I am making a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert. 20 The beasts of the field will honor me, The jackals and the ostriches, For I give water in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.’

Psalm 144:12-15, ‘12 Our sons are like trees that are young but have grown up, and our daughters are like cornerstones, hewn in the style of a palace. 13 Our barns are full of grain, and our flocks multiply in the open fields by thousands and ten thousands. 14 Our oxen are heavily laden, and no one will invade us or hinder us, and no crying will be in our streets. 15 Blessed is the people who are like this! Blessed is the people whose God is the LORD.’

Amos 9:13, ‘13 Behold, the days come,’ declares the LORD, ‘that the sower shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes shall overtake the sower, and the mountains shall drip with sweet wine, and the hills shall melt.’

  1. Religion

Psalm 67:2-5

‘2 Let your way be known on earth, your salvation among the nations. 3 Let the peoples praise you, O God, let all the peoples extol you. 4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and govern the kingdoms on earth. (Selah). 5 Let the peoples praise you, O God, let all the peoples praise you.’

According to Psalm 67:2-5, religion generally speaks of people serving God in the millennium. Isaiah 11:6-9,

‘6 The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the kid, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child will lead them. 7 The cow and the bear will feed together, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child will play on the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den. 9 They will not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.’

This verse must be the reality of the millennial kingdom. It says that the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord at that time.

However, it shows that there will be people who serve other gods even at this time.

Micah 4:3-5

‘3 He will judge between many nations, and decide for the strong nations far away. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore. 4 They will sit, each under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the mouth of the LORD Almighty has spoken. 5 The peoples will walk, each in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.’

In Micah 4:5, it is said that many people will walk, each in the name of their own gods, and there will be those who serve idolatrous gods in the millennial kingdom. That is possible. They are not those who believed in Jesus and were saved, but those who have sinful flesh and will enter the millennial kingdom with the same gods they served before the millennial kingdom. It is a habitual behavior. They are those with sinful natures. While reading this passage, I wondered how such people could exist in such good times. Among them, there must be believers in Satanism among those who are alive today. I think about why Satanism exists in this age and why people believe in Satanism and serve and follow Satan. No matter how good the environment is, not everyone unconditionally likes it. Because of their sinful nature, they rebel, get irritated, and rebel for no reason.

When considering the case of South Korea, the entire world knows that the North Korean dictatorship is wrong and that many people are abandoning the government and defecting because it is a government that starves and threatens its people, but in South Korean society, there are many citizens and members of the National Assembly who admire and love the North Korean government and submit to it. However, they do not want to go there and live there. I think this is the evil nature of human sin.

Likewise, no matter how good the millennium kingdom is and how many people enjoy all kinds of benefits while living in it, there are many who slander the millennium kingdom government and ultimately follow and serve Satan.

There is one worldwide holiday in the millennium kingdom. It is called the Feast of Tabernacles or the Feast of Tabernacles. It is the last of the seven major Jewish festivals of the year, and it is a festival that commemorates the Israelites’ 40 years of wilderness wandering. And the Feast of Tabernacles is a festival that foreshadows the millennial kingdom. We see that there are nations that do not participate in this Feast of Tabernacles in the millennial kingdom. It is said that Jehovah will punish such nations by withholding rain.

Zechariah 14:16-20,

‘16 The remnant of the nations that have come against Jerusalem will go up year by year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 For those of the families of the earth who do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, will have no rain. 18 But if the Egyptians do not go up, there will be no rain; Jehovah will strike them with the plague that he struck the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This is the punishment of the Egyptians and the foreigners who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 20 On that day, even on the bells of the horses, there will be written, ‘Holiness to the Lord.’

This shows that in the millennium, the whole world will serve the Lord, but even then, there will be those who will not. These are the ones who will join Satan later when he is released from the bottomless pit. Even though God has provided a way of salvation, we see that those who will perish will never choose that way.

  1.   War

Isaiah 2:2-4

‘2 In the last days, the mountain of the LORD’s house will be established as the top of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills; and all nations will stream to it. 3 Many peoples will go and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.’ For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 He will judge between the nations and reprove many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.’

It is no exaggeration to say that the history of mankind is the history of war, as war occupies a significant portion of human history. According to research by American historian Will Durant, there were only 270 years of war-free history out of the 3,500 years of human history. In order to ‘overpower their opponents in war,’ mankind developed ‘newer and more powerful weapons,’ and eventually developed ‘nuclear weapons, which can be called the weapon of weapons.’ However, the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima during World War II was a relatively small and primitive nuclear weapon, but it caused 70,000 casualties immediately after being dropped and 70,000 more deaths due to the aftereffects of radiation. After witnessing two world wars, each of which claimed approximately 15 million and 70 million lives, and the use of nuclear weapons, the international community joined forces to create the United Nations to maintain peace. Based on this, the need to reform the international peacekeeping system is growing.

The Ukraine War has confirmed that the existing UN international peacekeeping system is not suitable for the changing times. I think that a more strengthened peace system reform is necessary through discussions after the Ukraine War. To do this, global governance must be strengthened, but as of now, global governance is not being strengthened as much as expected because nationalism and globalism are in conflict and countries are not willing to give up authority and sovereignty.

Peacekeeping is not the only task that many countries must solve together. There are many other tasks such as climate change due to global warming, income gaps between countries, and pandemics like COVID-19. In this situation where global challenges and tasks are increasing, global governance needs to be strengthened further. Global governance is emphasized to maintain world peace. There was a time in human history when global governance was established. That was during the seven-year tribulation period in Revelation 8-18, when the Antichrist formed a single world nation. However, the single world nation that this Antichrist will form is a dictatorship for the Antichrist alone.

However, the millennial kingdom is a global government formed by the Messiah Christ. The Roman era is called Pax Romana. Since the powerful nation of Rome was watching over the surrounding countries, no country dared to start a war. The millennial kingdom of our Lord is also a nation that controls and watches over all countries and peoples with the power and strength of the Messiah Christ and governs democratically. Since those who entered the millennial kingdom with sinful flesh will fight and express discontent among neighbors and neighboring countries. This will be extremely partial, and there will be no wars like World War I or World War II. When there are partial disputes, the global government will mediate well.
