V. The State after the War of Gog and Magog

The Intermediate Period between the Millennium and the New Heaven and New Earth

There will be a considerable time gap between the War of Gog and Magog and the Great White Throne Judgment. It was said that it would take seven years to burn their weapons after the War of Gog and Magog. When we read the Bible, we must know that a great deal of time and space can be compressed in one word, one line, or one paragraph. There was also a great time gap and space compressed between Genesis 1:1 and 2. This is the world after the Millennium and the War of Gog and Magog. People are still living at that time. Those who are alive at that time are those who did not die in the War of Gog and Magog and are still alive. They will stand before the Great White Throne Judgment alive.

However, we do not know how long the time gap will be between this time and the Great White Throne Judgment. Looking at Ezekiel 39:9-16, the people at that time seem as calm as if we are living in the world today and as natural as if we are living in the Millennium. The Great White Throne Judgment will soon take place. These are those who did not join Satan and followed the laws of the kingdom well during the millennial kingdom. Now, when they stand before the Great White Throne Judgment, they will be transformed into spirits in an instant, not in their physical bodies, and after confirming their names in the Book of Life placed before the judgment seat, they will enter the eternal world and live forever.

Ezekiel 39:9-16,

‘9 The inhabitants of the cities of Israel will go out and burn their weapons with fire, shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, clubs and spears, and burn them for seven years. 10 They will not gather wood from the field or cut down trees from the forests, because they will kindle fires with their weapons. They will plunder those who plundered them and rob those who plundered them,’ declares the Lord God. 11 On that day I will give Gog a burial place in the land of Israel, the valley of the people, east of the sea; the way of the people will be blocked. There they will bury Gog and all his multitude, and they will call it the valley of Hamon-gog. 12 The house of Israel will bury them for seven months and cleanse the land. 13 All the people of the land will bury them and make a name for themselves, because it is the day when I will reveal my glory, declares the Lord God. 14 They will select men to go through the land regularly, along with those who are buried, to bury the dead bodies that remain on the face of the earth, and cleanse the land. At the end of seven months they will search. 15 When those who pass by the land see human bones, they will set up a sign beside them and bring them to the gravediggers to bury them in the valley of Hamon-gog. 16 The name of the city will be called Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land.’
